PHOEBE VEITCH
Tell us a little bit about what you do? Can you let us know what exciting projects you’re working on at the moment?
I’m a model and an art student. I just finished my foundation year at Central Saint Martins - where my passion for art has flourished! My latest project explores how religion fits in with my generation, in which I reimagined traditional biblical references in a more relatable way.
What draws you to a project? Can you tell me about a project you’re most proud of and why?
I like to use visual art to represent big topics. I think I’m most proud of a short animation that I created of Rishi Sunak as a caricature; to try and challenge the problems we’re facing as a country.
Where do you find inspiration?
My mum is my inspiration. Her job is dedicated to helping people in the community, and from her I see the importance of working with people in my creative process.
How do you approach getting dressed every day? Can you tell us a bit about your personal style?
I think fashion should be fun, I love to accessorize and mix men’s clothes with feminine pieces. My guilty pleasure is making everything I own off the shoulder!
What are you wearing here and what made you gravitate towards this look from HUISHAN ZHANG?
This look is such a beautiful colour and wearing HUISHAN ZHANG always makes me feel like such an elegant lady!
