Born in the city of Qingdao, China, Huishan Zhang has lived an internationally rich and eclectic life.

Since leaving China at the age of 17, Huishan has remained overseas in, New Zealand, Paris and finally London, where he is permanently based.

During his time at Central St Martins, where he graduated with a BA honor in fashion design and an MA in pattern cutting, Huishan was hand picked to spend a year at Dior Couture’s Paris Atelier before even graduating and scooping the prestigious Deutsche Bank award.

As a Chinese-born, London based designer Huishan has found inspiration and direction in his own national identity creating a brand where Eastern heritage meets Western influence in a luxurious collection with strong lines and feminine details creating a romantic, sophisticated ageless philosophy.
