How has 2021 been for you and which projects are you working on at the moment?

Obviously, it’s been tricky year and I'm just grateful to have made it through! I'm working on styling with my clients and also been painting a lot! Summer is quieter for me after awards season. So, I'm taking the time to take a break before it all kicks off again with the Met Gala in September.

Which opportunity were you given in your career that will always be important to you. Is there anyone who acted as a mentor to you?

I've had many incredible opportunities. Landing my first Fashion job at British GQ where I was assistant to the Fashion Director Jo Levin. I learnt so much about menswear during my four years there. And then landing the band Muse as a client, they really opened so many doors for me and that’s how I ended up coming to LA for the first time, and introduced me to Kate Hudson, who I've worked with for almost ten years now.

Do you have any special memories of travel to Asia and favourite Asian owned businesses?

I absolutely love Asia. Tokyo is one of my favourite places. It's like another world and so much to take in. I shot a music video there with Muse and had so much fun shopping. The fashion is incredible. I went back for a girls trip a few years later. Also did a trip to China with Kate and we had a great time in Hong Kong and got to see baby Panda's in Chengdu! Adore Singapore too.

Where are you hoping to travel to next?

I'm not travelling too much internationally due to Covid but I'm heading to Hawaii with some friends next week and I can’t wait.

What you are wearing and what made you choose this look from Huishan Zhang?

Blush. I adore the blush colour, it’s so elegant, soft and feminine. This is the type of dress I'd love to dress a client in for a red-carpet event.
