City: London

Intro: I am a nature loving Londoner via Tokyo, suburbs of Chicago and New York City. My first major entrepreneurial adventure was starting one of the first online art and

design sales platforms, called Paddle8. Since then, I have been curating, advising private clients and consulting for brands on how they work within the cultural space (namely art, music and fashion). I am currently focused on few select design projects that put art at the forefront. I have served on the board of WfWI for five years and am currently part of their Fundraising and Marketing Committee and am passionate about developing strategies for changing the world through non-profit organisations.

What are the lessons you’ve learnt in lock-down: I've learned how to be more patient with myself, letting the natural rhythm of the days unfold and to engage with that, rather than forcing things to happen or rushing through things, especially the in between moments.

What do you miss most / what are you looking forward to: I miss getting sweaty on the dance floor.

What have you learned about yourself this year: That I really enjoy open ended time without plans and some experience of nature is key to my happiness.

Any projects you have been working on that you would like to talk about? I just finished a residential design project and am about to embark on another one.

Thoughts for the new year: Rather than just "return to normal" I'd love to think we can find some new explorations and freedoms in the absences created by lockdowns and restrictions.

What are you wearing and why were you drawn to it: I chose it for its impeccable neckline!

Hikari wears: The Ilaria gown in black tulle.
