Intro: I’m a storyteller. My main bread and butter is being a model, a career that first started when I was a young teenager. Besides that, in recent years Instagram has become a collaborative platform with brands and a visual diary for both inspiration and narrative. Here and there I’ve played with acting too, through short films and music videos. In the past I wrote for a few different magazines, mainly interviews, lifestyle and I interviewed countless artists for different publications as well as working as an editor. Last but not least, I’m the mum of a little three-year old boy, the brightest part of my days.

What are the lessons you’ve learnt in lock-down: I have to say that when the first

lockdown happened I was already in a journey of personal growth and looking inward, so the lifestyle change didn’t affect me as dramatically as other people. My immediate circle was very small and I was already spending time doing my own thing although work stopping almost completely for several months was challenging. That being said I don’t think there is a specific lesson that I didn’t know already before quarantine happened, but it was definitely a reminder of some thing that I already knew, which is: life is fragile and really precious. What is really worthwhile and valuable in this life is love and that the people you love and care about are healthy. That you get to do the things that truly move your soul, and that you get to take care of each other and our Mother Earth. It was definitely a period that made you think of the priorities in life, which was a really good reminder.

What do you miss most / what are you looking forward to: Hugs and spontaneity, those are two big ones. Being free to go wherever you want and see whoever you want. I look forward to seeing my family and best friends who live in different parts of this world.

What have you learned about yourself this year: I learnt that I am much stronger than I thought and to always follow my intuition.

Any projects you have been working on that you would like to talk about? I have different projects going on at the moment through modelling and collaborations with brands, but learning how to find the balance of being a working mom is something really interesting to me because it’s ever-evolving. For me both those worlds really help one another. I think being satisfied in my career makes me a better mother and being a mother has helped me in being more present in my work. It doesn’t come without challenges, but searching my own equilibrium between those two worlds is something that both is important and fulfills me.

Thoughts for the new year: Live in truth. Seek the light. Be kind. Be who you are

unapologetically, everything else will fall into place.

What are you wearing and why were you drawn to it: Wearing one color head-to-toe is one of my uniforms all year long, so is playing with the contrast between feminine and masculine. This look was a natural choice for me. I absolute love wearing top-to-toe white. The feathers and the lace are very feminine and playful, a total opposite to the boxy and sleeveless tops and baggy pants I wear a lot which add tomboy-ish accents. This outfit really felt like a second skin to me.

Natalia wears: The Rhonda Top in white lace with ostrich feathers and the Mariella

Trousers in pleated white lace.
